A kinesthetic manifesto for a sensorial choreography - Mette Ingvartsen 16.02.2010

1. Move physically to stimulate motion in the body on the spectator
2. Sync into the motion of the body of the spectator
3. Simulate in your mind that the spectator in front of you is moving even if he she is not
4. Use perceptive tricks that might fool the sensation of the spectator
5. Move in the speed of the spectator
6. Think of synaesthetic abilities, as if one of your senses acts like as one of the others
7. Figure out what mirror neurons are and how they function
8. Make work that cannot be made into an image, or think images as consequences of
activities
9. Use fictional, virtual and imaginary realities as if they had actual existence
10. Share you nervous system with your surrounding or let the surrounding be your
nerves.
